VADIM BOURENIN

Vadim Bourenin's practice focuses primarily on cases involving environmental, energy and natural resources law.  It includes oil and gas and environmental litigation, contractual disputes, and condemnation. Vadim's clients include major and independent oil and gas pipeline companies and offshore drilling businesses. Recently, Vadim served on a national counsel team for major pipeline projects in Ohio, West Virginia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas. Prior to his practice in Texas, Vadim worked as a Law Clerk for Chief Justice Paul J. DeMuniz of the Oregon Supreme Court. Prior to becoming the first lawyer from Tajikistan to be awarded an Edmund S. Muskie Fellowship, Vadim  served as General Counsel to the Constitutional Supervision Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan, and he also taught Civil and Environmental & Natural Resources Law at the Law School of the Tajik State University.

In addition to licensure in Oregon and Texas, Vadim is eligible to practice in the countries of ex-USSR. He was extensively involved in a number of Alaska and Oregon Bar projects aimed to assist development of jury trials and legal ethics in Russia.
