MICHAEL JANECEK
Of Counsel
Mr. Janecek is a trial attorney with twenty-seven years of litigation experience. He practices primarily in the areas of eminent domain, right-of-way acquisition and easement negotiation, real estate law, general civil litigation, oil and gas law and commercial litigation. He is experienced in representing clients in a variety of forums including jury and bench trials, administrative hearings and mediation. Mr. Janecek was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1992 and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Mr. Janecek has been a Continuing Legal Education lecturer on eminent domain topics, a guest lecturer at Marquette University Law School, University of Houston Law Center and South Texas College of Law. He has been a panel member on the live television broadcast of "Law Talk from South Texas College of Law," and participated on a sports law panel at South Texas College of Law. During law school he received the Best Advocate Award in Civil Trial Advocacy Competition, participated in moot court and mock trial competitions and was a member of the University of Houston Advocates' Association.
