NANCY ELLIOTT
Nancy Elliott has nearly 25 years of experience handling appellate matters and critical motions in state and federal courts. Nancy's practice currently focuses primarily on appellate matters in cases involving ownership of oil, gas, and other mineral interests, condemnation proceedings, contractual disputes, and other energy litigation. Over the course of her career, she has also successfully handled scores of appellate and other matters involving written advocacy in a wide variety of commercial disputes including appeals, dispositive motions, and matters related to expert witnesses and other key evidentiary issues at trial.
While at the University of Texas, Nancy was an Associate Editor on the Texas Law Review, and was a Teaching Quizmaster, teaching legal research and writing to first-year law students.
Prior to entering law school, Nancy worked as a registered nurse at Texas Children's Hospital for 5 years.
